Trump disgrace for U.S. democracy. Being the President of the United States is not an easy job, not when he must make the liberals in the whole world happy, amongst them the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of ZDF, Elmar Theveßen.
Trump Schande für US-Demokratie (Trump Disgrace for US Democracy)
ドイツ公共放送ZDFニュース(2017年5月27日)
…. I am not a psychologist but a political scientist and a journalist: this US president is dangerous. We Europeans can not do anything about it. We must learn to live with it. But the American people do not have to. His representatives in Congress could remove Trump from from office. The Cabinet could declare him incapable of being President, according to Article 25 of the Constitution. Whosoever has the responsibility in Washington, you should finally do it justice, before Trump destroys America’s true greatness once and for all.
Deputy Editor-in-Chief of ZDF, Elmar Theveßen

Goebbels would have been much more adept in expressing such irrational hatred and disdain, but he would no less have made use of the government-owned and -controlled Grossdeutsche Rundfunk as well as the Voelkische Beobachter to make his feelings known.
The ZDF is ostensibly independent, but it seems that the best that can be said about that is that it is to some extent independent from regime changes on account of elections. It appears most certainly to be a taxpayer-funded, liberal media organization.
The truth is of course a different thing in this instance. Far from being a disgrace of democracy in the United States, it is a true and proper consequence of the democratic process in that nation that Trump became the president of his country. Trump has been in office since January 20, 2017, just barely for four months, but for the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the ZDF, Elmar Theveßen, that is already far too long. Elmar Theveßen is eager and impatient to see Trump removed from office.
Elmar Theveßen appears to be a little out of touch with reality. Did he not notice the public applause that interrupted Donald Trump when the latter made his announcement? Still, true to the form of a dedicated ideologist, Elmar Theveßen does not let the truth get in the way of his convictions.

Trump disgrace for US democracy
ド イ ツ 公共 放送 ZDF ニ ュ ー ス (2017 年 5 月 27 日)
That was great today! Open words are more honest than prefabricated explanations. So, after all the summits, we finally got clarity about the US president: “America first” and “only”, responsibility for the world, wrong impression.
Solidarity is a commodity for Donald Trump, available only for cash in advance. He throws himself at the neck of Saudi Arabia, a country from which distorted Islam is being spread worldwide, justifying the Islamists’ murder of the children of Manchester. Trump considers Yad Vashem to be a tourist attraction. He betrays state secrets, wants heads of his security authorities to conceal possible evidence of criminal action, hinders the judiciary, fires the top investigator. Trump lies, when it suits him, and calls all his critics liars.
The leader of the free world defames and threatens journalists and thus strengthens the Putins, Erdogans and their likes, freedom of opinion and human dignity to be stomped on. This President is a disgrace for American democracy and our values. He who hopes for the moderating influence of his ministers is very much mistaken. They are not reliable conversation partners, because Trump degrades them “quote: to useful idiots”. He left the security adviser at the doorstep of the Israeli Prime Minister and took his family to a confidential meeting instead. His ministers were surprised by Trumps blustering in Brussels.
However, the anger of the NATO partners is hypocritical, too. Anyone who is commits to something and then wants to change the rules deserves to be rebuked. Sometimes even the fool speaks the truth. Just that this fool, Donald Trump, is not wise, but maliciously narcissistic.According to psychology, the malignant narcissist is only concerned with his own advantage. He is ruthless, impulsive, compelled to seek power and wealth. He follows only the law of the strongest. He is impatient and aggressive, humiliates and degrades other people, calls them evil and sneaky, when he is fears about his power.

Perhaps Deputy Editor-in-Chief of ZDF, Elmar Theveßen, is not aware of the electric energy calamity that has been imposed on Germany, and that Donald Trump is trying his best to spare the economy and the 325 million inhabitants of the United States the pain and suffering that the German people are experiencing on account of their country’s harmful energy policies.

Maybe Elmar Theveßen is just fiddling while Germany is having its lights turned off.
