Recipient of the O2/Symantec Recognition Award
Yes, the website for Fathers for Life and its affiliated blogs are being slandered and censored.
Whether you are a fathers-rights activist, a pro-family activist or a skeptic of environmental alarmism, it is quite likely that your website or blog is being slandered and censored, too. It is being done on the sly. No one will tell you about it. If it happened, you will have been found guilty and were sentenced in the Star-Chamber court of a multinational corporation (by an obscure clerk, in an obscure office), and it is not likely that you will be able to appeal. Check the rating of your website or blog. I had asked O2 to review and explain their website rating policy in regard to Fathers for Life. They did not respond.-

Fatherlessness, in the best interest of the child
Fatherlessness, in the best interest of the child is the topic of a web page containing a number of links that required correcting. The file name of one of the web pages containing that discussion had been changed some time ago. That web page seems to be an important read for anyone who believes that case-law can be used to reverse the evolution of case-law pertaining to the changing nature of the legal right to paternity that took place during the past 200 years or so. If you think that today’s fathers have a right to their children, that “in the best interest of the child” children have rights to … Continue reading
Report slams elderly care home treatment
Updated 2018 07 21: updated link and added links By Sarah Womack, Social Affairs Correspondent Last Updated: 3:05am GMT 19/12/2007 The appalling treatment of elderly people in care homes has been laid bare in a report which found some are dragged around by their hair, strapped into wheelchairs, locked in their rooms and sedated. The Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), describes how frail and vulnerable people are mistreated and often threatened or intimidated. Its 65-page report, Rights, Risks and Restraints, is based on a survey of 253 older people and their carers and an analysis of complaints and official inspection reports. The report is based on a survey of 253 older … Continue reading

A Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year
A Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous New Year, to all friends and visitors to Dads & Things and its related website Fathers for Life. In the last few weeks I responded to very few of the about 300 e-mail messages a day received by Fathers for Life. I still try to read all of those messages, but I had to forgo writing responses, so as to find much-needed time for completing a few neglected house-keeping chores for Fathers for Life: A little over a hundred web pages at Fathers for Life still needed to be converted to the standard web-page design that was first introduced in the beginning … Continue reading

Who’s the Worst Nanny of 2007?
Updated 2019 02 13: Added links to related articles. From Townhall Spotlight <TownHallmessage@TownHallMail.com> The Center for Consumer Freedom is handing out its annual Nanny Awards, and we want you to vote for the worst food cop of 2007. The competition is fierce. Vying for the title: Overzealous state legislators pushing bans on common food ingredients; health officials prohibiting full-grown adults from eating dessert; prominent food activists caught in acts of rank hypocrisy; and animal-rights fanatics using the force of law to make food companies conform to their radical anti-meat dogmas. Click here for a full list of this year’s nominees. Some top contenders: Meme Roth, “Real Cops Need to Arrest … Continue reading

Men: Do not marry, do not have children!
Updated 2019 01 28: Added links to related articles. Article by Stephen Baskerville, Ph.D. Full text of the article: Stephen Baskerville, Ph.D.Do Not Marry, Do Not Have Children November 14, 2007 at 11:36 am · Filed under Mating, Marriage & Divorce, Vox Populi Marriage is a foundation of civilized life. No advanced civilization has ever existed without the married, two-parent family. Those who argue that our civilization needs healthy marriages to survive are not exaggerating. And yet I cannot, in good conscience, urge young men to marry today. For many men (and some women), marriage has become nothing less than a one-way ticket to jail. Even the New York Times has reported on how … Continue reading

Anti-male Hate Propaganda: Courtesy Alberta Government
Dear William, Thanks for the pointer to the web page with the Anti-male Hate Propaganda: Courtesy Alberta Government. I can’t even copy or print the web page as it is, except for taking a photograph of it…. William, please click on the RSS feed button at http://blog.fathersforlife.org if you wish to be informed of when that photo and the related comment are being posted. If you wish for the government to stop its continual anti-male hate propaganda campaign, you need to do more than just write to the minister. The minister and her staff are man-haters. Only public pressure will get her and her staff to change their ways. Write … Continue reading

The Three Stages of a Man’s Life
Updated 2019 02 14 The Three Stages of a Man’s Life PG-Rated — Pictures requiring no words. I am in the process of verifying links and fixing those that need to be fixed. There is a curious thing about that effort. I cannot escape the impression that the allegedly immutable Internet Archive fails to keep archival copies of files, but the deletions appear to be biased. Things that show men in a bad light are more likely to be kept archived than things that do the same with women. Similarly, conservative news appear less likely to remain in the Internet Archive than things of a liberal bent. So, to be on … Continue reading
