Abortion – Death or life? You decide.

Abortion is being promoted for a number of reasons. The rationalization used to justify it is that it is being done “in the best interest of the children” (every child born is a wanted child) and to “promote equal rights for women” (so as to liberate women from the biological constraint of being the bearers of new life). On the outcomes of fatherlessness in families

In relation to fatherlessness in families, some years ago I told someone who was doing the intake interviews of prisoners at the Edmonton Maximum Security Prison that it would be a good idea to check for the extent of fatherlessness in families of the prisoners he was interviewing. Young people refusing to leave their rooms

They are called hikikomori, a million or more Japanese young people refusing to leave their rooms, while living off their parents – some for decades at a time. Why?  The BBC asserts that they are mostly or virtually exclusively young men.  Others, not quite as biased as the BBC has become accustomed to be, say that the problem exists, but that is about equally shared between the sexes.  Not only that, they point to evidence that appears to indicate that the problem is a world-wide one, afflicting people in developed nation, and that no firm dimensions of the “affliction” are known. Independence at what price and for whose benefit ?Some years ago I put together the following summary of U.S. suicide statistics, in the hope that it would be an incentive for someone else to continue with the effort, to carry it on to today and beyond, but that has not happened as of now. It may not be necessary, although we have become inured to the endemic losses of men’s lives.
