The Effect of Feminism on Canadian Society
September 27, 2008 by Walter Schneider.
Barbara Kay, columnist at Canada’s National Post, in her speech at the 25th Anniversary Conference of REAL Women of Canada, The Effect of Feminism on Canadian Society (Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; 20 September 2008), in describing what has in effect become a totalitarian society dominated and controlled by feminist ideology and doctrine, stated:
….Nothing is more illustrative of the punitive character of feminist excesses than family court. Here is where misandry in its most open, cynical and pernicious form is found. Over 85% of contested custody suits end with mothers receiving sole custody over children. The remaining 15% divide children between other family members, agencies and fathers, so in fact fathers arrive at sole custody about 7% of the time.
Only an extreme systemic contempt for the value of a father’s role in the life of a child can explain such a disparity, and only an extreme prejudice against men in general can explain that contempt, and nobody pretends otherwise.
Indeed, one of the more chilling statements I have ever read, one that captures the casual acceptance of democracy’s fall from grace in family court was this from the National Association of Women and the Law: “Courts may treat parents unequally and deny them basic civil liberties and rights, as long as their motives are good.”…. (See Full Speech)

More of Barbara Kay’s speeches
Although Barbara Kay did not dwell on it in her speech, the totalitarian system created and controlled by feminists such as in Canada now prevails in all developed nations and extends to virtually all developing nations, in what is becoming a truly feminist, global, socialist, totalitarian State.

Murderess is too harsh a word
September 26, 2008 by Walter Schneider.
White-washing is too harsh a word for what is being done in the appended article. Still, what Mary Dejevsky of the Independent does in her article is rationalize that a woman who murders her four-year-old daughter should be exonerated.
She argues that a mother must have been overloaded with work and snapped under the stress of that. It does not seem that Mary Dejevsky or any other journalist ever argued that such reasoning should apply when men murder or even only merely commit manslaughter or perhaps do nothing more than yell at their wives.
For all of her sympathy towards the murdering mama, Mary Dejevsky uses a clear double standard: When a woman murders, she deserves sympathy for not fitting the image of women that would better belong on a pedestal, while when men murder or merely use any non-fatal violence against a women there is no excuse.

Murderess is too harsh a word
By Mary Dejevsky
You don’t often hear the word “murderess” these days; it has gone the way of “actress” and other gender-specific nouns deemed somehow to demean the individual concerned. Except that in the case of “murderess”, the gender specificity seems rather to magnify the vilification, and I wager it will be used, if it hasn’t been already, to describe Joanne Hill, the woman just sentenced by Chester Crown Court to 15 years’ imprisonment for killing Naomi, her four-year-old child.
Mrs Hill was 32, had a chequered psychiatric history, and had pleaded diminished responsibility. But two considerations surely sealed her fate. One was the recording of her police interview, where she recounted, second by chilling second, how she took her reluctant daughter for a bedtime bath, fully intending to do what she did, and forced the child’s head under the water until she died….(Full Story)
A pro-woman bias, although pervasive in the media, is not confined to the media. It is most prominent in the judiciary, who generally exonerate women for crimes for which, if perpetrated by men, men serve serious and long sentences.
Consider the case of a “28-year-old Sioux Falls woman will not do further jail time for having sex with a boy half her age.”
Circuit Judge Brad Zell said a pre-sentencing investigation determined West does not have the characteristics of a child predator.
“This is an act that is uncharacteristic of yourself,” Zell said….(Full Story)
And what about the case of the “Denver mom charged in sex assault on son, 2″?
Alicia Lee of Denver took photos of herself performing oral sex on her child and then e-mailed them to a friend in April, according to an arrest affidavit….
In a message the next day, she wrote, “DID IT!!././.He giggled a lot. I think it tickled him. I will try again tomorrow. I think if I do it enough he will get use (sic) to it.”….
Lee is free on $50,000 bond and due in court Monday for formal advisement on the charges….(Full Story)
What will her sentence be? Will it be as severe as that of a dad who committed a crime of comparable severity? If a father had done something like it, he would in all likelihood be sitting in jail until found guilty, and then for quite a few years more.

Status of Women Canada wines, dines and travels
September 25, 2008 by Walter Schneider.
Self-serving socializing or promoting the interests of Canadian women?
Whatever it may be considered to be, is the high cost of socializing illustrated here due to valuable work on behalf of women? Let’s not forget that Canadian men pay for three quarters of it, while there is no government department Status of Men Canada.
Nevertheless, despite MP (Vegreville-Wainwright) Leon Benoit’s denial of the existence of his party’s government department for the Status of Women Canada, SWC is very much in existence, alive, kicking and spending tax dollars generously.
Given that the Conservative Party of Canada changed the exercise of the Freedom of Information Act to impose all-out restrictions on the freedom of information, one must wonder whether the information made accessible here through the generosity of the Canadian Government will be accessible for much longer….(Full Story)

The Consequences of Homosexual Marriage
By Karen England
In the next few weeks, Californians will be inundated with media messages about the importance of allowing same-sex marriages. Voters will see television ads telling them that homosexual love deserves “equality” with heterosexual love. Voters will hear radio reports about how all gays and lesbians want is to have the same “rights” as all married couples.
And the main message that will be repeated is that allowing homosexuals to marry will have no impact on your marriage or your family–so what’s the harm in giving gays their chance to marry?….(Full Story)

Andrea Mrozek: Abortion, in plain English
Posted: September 23, 2008, 10:26 AM by Kelly McParland
When pro-choice social commentator Camille Paglia wrote that she sanctions “murder” when it is called “abortion,” pro-lifers were horrified. They should have cheered.
Her article — published recently on Salon.com– only briefly touched on abortion. But the offending comments were made as part of an attention- grabbing one-two punch. Paglia wrote that she is “a firm supporter of abortion rights,” but then went on to say: “I have always frankly admitted that abortion is murder, the extermination of the powerless by the powerful which results in the annihilation of concrete individuals and not just clumps of insensate tissue.” Almost every pro-abortion activist lives in a zone where they conceal what abortion really is — though they know that the procedure involves killing a person each and every time. The difference between them and Paglia is that they don’t come out and say it….(Full Story)

The Conservative Party of Canada and “Status of Women Canada”
September 23, 2008 by Walter Schneider.
The following message was sent Sep. 22, 2008,
To Leon Benoit
Member of Parliament
Conservative Party of Canada
Vegreville-Wainwright
Alberta
Dear Leon,
This is in reference to the discussion we had during your attendance at the supper at the Bruderheim Seniors Club, Friday, September 19th, 2008, after your address to those present.
I had asked you about what plans the Canadian Conservative Party has to establish a government department “Status of Men”, to provide a counterweight to that of “Status of Women”, so as to promote balance in addressing issues pertaining to both sexes.
The discussion I had hoped would develop out of that question never had a chance to emerge. That is because you insisted that “you” (I took that to mean the Government of Canada under the leadership of the CPC) do not have a government department “Status of Women Canada”.
You are mistaken. Your insistence on the assertion that Status of Women Canada does not exist is quite plainly wrong. Proof of your assertion being wrong is provided by the fact that the budget allocation to Status of Women Canada was, even though not eliminated, slashed in 2006 by the government your party leads, slashed by,
$5-million: Administrative reductions to Status of Women Canada (see full story: Ottawa’s $2-billion hit list, Sep. 27, 2006)
Here are a few Government of Canada web pages that illustrate that Status of Women Canada is very much alive and kicking.
- http://www.cfc-swc.gc.ca/index_e.html (English)
- http://www.cfc-swc.gc.ca/index_f.html (French)
The last of those web pages identifies, amongst many other things, that,
The following issues have been identified as Women’s Program priorities for 2008-2009:
- women’s economic security (with a focus on financial literacy)
- women’s economic prosperity
- women’s leadership development
- women’s safety
- elimination of all forms of violence and discrimination against women and girls
That Government of Canada web page identifies also that,
To be eligible for Women’s Program funding, an organization’s mandate and objectives must reflect: Section 15 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, which stipulates, “(1) Every individual is equal before and under the law and has the right to the equal protection and equal benefit of the law without discrimination and, in particular, without discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability” and “(2) Subsection (1) does not preclude any law, program or activity that has as its object the amelioration of conditions of disadvantaged individuals or groups, including those that are disadvantaged because of race, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, sex, age or mental or physical disability”;
Those laudable provisions and conditions in the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms should equally apply to men, especially in view of the rampant, excessive and even fatal discrimination against men by the Canadian Government under your leadership, all the more so in view of the fact that the discrimination against men prevailed already for decades.
Are men’s issues such as those listed for women, above, any less important? There should be no doubt in any objective individual’s mind about that funding allocations should also be made to promote:
- men’s economic security (with a focus on financial literacy);
- men’s economic prosperity;
- men’s leadership development;
- men’s safety, and the
- elimination of all forms of violence and discrimination against men and boys.
A search of the website of the Government of Canada for “Status of Women” shows information that pertains to as many as 14,338 items of federal government expenditures, covering millions of dollars spent on behalf of Status of Women Canada, further proving that Status of Women Canada is very much alive. The expense claims for which compensation was provided could not very well have been made by individuals from a government department whose demise is being so vastly exaggerated by you. After all, it appears that the most recent record of those expense claims was updated Sep. 4, 2008.
It is particularly disturbing that many of those expenditures, many of them to the tune of tens of thousands of dollars, were quite clearly used to promote a Canadian feminist agenda on the international political scene. What comparable expenditures for comparable reasons took place on behalf of men? Is the feminist agenda thus promoted representative of the international policies of the government under the Conservative Party of Canada, or is Status of Women Canada a government department that is out of control?
Leon, women own roughly 70 percent of all personal property in Canada. Women receive 70 percent of all payouts from social safety nets (while men make 70 percent of all contributions to those social safety nets). Women comprise less than two out of every 20 job fatalities (see Death by Numbers). Women receive the benefits of government research funding for women-specific diseases that are much larger than the research funding for diseases specific to men. Women’s presence at universities and colleges vastly exceeds the number of male students. Last but not least, Canadian women outlive Canadian men on average by seven years.
Those are just a few of the examples that show that Canadian women fare much better than the conditions for Canadian men permit for men. They illustrate that the creation of a government department for the Status of Men is necessary and well justified. If that is not so, please identify a time and place to permit some representatives of the Canadian Men’s Movement to meet with you and to be able to discuss those matters in greater detail.
Leon, to make a last point and to impress upon you the importance of issues such as those I identified in this message, consider that the importance of the growing voting block of the elderly that you identified and stressed in your address last Friday could be made to be far more important for the party that actually cares enough about the prevailing early demise of men, so as to attempt to make the proportions of women and men over 65 and still alive equal, instead of it being, as of now, one man for every two women.
The issues brought up in this message relate not merely to the respective well-being of the sexes but are quite literally matters of life and death, especially so for men and boys. Without a doubt, to address those issues, in a manner that is favourable to Canadian men, boys and those who love and respect them, will have a beneficial impact on your party’s fortunes in the coming election.
Respectfully awaiting your response,
Walter Schneider

Fathers rights organizations in Winnipeg, Manitoba
September 23, 2008 by Walter Schneider.
Amelia [not her real name] wrote:
Hi,
We are wondering if there is anyone in Winnipeg Manitoba to contact for some information or assistance in dealing with a nasty custody battle. The legal fees are huge and we are getting know where.
Amelia and Jim
Hello Amelia,
All custody battles are nasty, except for those people who like to engage themselves in them because those battles provide some gains or an income.
Legal fees are not truly ever huge, but lawyers fees most often are. That is because lawyers have and maintain a monopoly on the services they provide. Even though judges are lawyers, too, they seem to cost not so much to normal mortals, except when one begins to consider how much social engineering is being done by the judiciary, what the costs of that are and that all of those costs are being paid for through tax revenues that are being sucked out of our pockets.
It has been that for at least the 20 years I have been involved as an activists in issues such as those that threaten you now, that there never was any individual activist or fathers rights organization that anyone could be referred to in Manitoba.
Previously, a directory of Canadian equal parenting organizations never showed any listings for Manitoba. Still, Manitoba divorces, divorce courts and custody battles are just as devastating and destructive as are those in other provinces. However, as the identified directory shows, there is now one such organization in Manitoba, although I am not sure how or whether they can or will be of help to you.
If all else fails, consider that there is nothing preventing you from starting an effective and practical organization in Manitoba. Given the considerable number of inquiries about such (non-existent) organizations in Manitoba we received in Alberta over the years, the demand for services, advice and comradery offered by such an organization certainly appears to exist. It needs to be nothing more than the opportunity for parents in comparable circumstances to meet on a regular basis. It seems that a newspaper ad, run for about a week, would result in a good list of interested individuals.
Be careful about selecting a lawyer. We have often been asked for advice on that, so often that we posted some generic advice on how to select a lawyer, contained in the following articles.
Hope that helps,
Walter Schneider

Why we need a men’s movement
September 22, 2008 by Walter Schneider.
Angry Harry put up links to excellent videos at his website. You need to see those. (The first items listed at the top of the home page.)
- The first video, “Why we need a men’s movement”, and its related short video clips, address the consequences of years and decades of discrimination against men.
- The second set of videos is about the causes of discrimination against men. Those are ten free segments of a full documentary (available for sale on a CD by indoctrinate-u.com) that relate to the abrogation of academic freedom, but also illuminate many other issues, such as the lack of men’s studies programs, while women’s studies programs abound.
Both sets of videos are specific to the US. However, anyone who has been following the evolution of feminist social engineering can affirm that the all-out promotion of women’s programs only and the loss of academic freedom are generic and universal problems that affect primarily all developed nations.

Academic Freedom is dead?
September 21, 2008 by Walter Schneider.
Judging by the documentary produced by Support Independent Film, “Indoctrinate U” (accessible at YouTube for free and for purchase at http://indoctrinate-u.com), academic freedom at US universities is dead, but, for that fact alone, all the more worth fighting for. Anyone who is the least bit objective would agree, but, as the documentary illustrates, to even ask questions about academic freedom, such as to ask a university Diversity Office as to where a men’s studies department can be found on campus, will result in campus security being called to evict the questioner, rather than to have any official explain that diversity works only for women, not men, even though men comprise now a minority on US campuses.
The phenomenon is not an American monopoly. It also exists on Canadian campuses, as does the great disparity in the numbers of male and female students. The issue of the gradual but deliberate abrogation of academic freedom was a favorite topic that the now defunct Report Newsmagazine covered in many of its issues already years ago. It is not being discussed much in the media anymore. It appears that academics as well as journalists have become sufficiently indoctrinated or, perhaps more aptly for many, afraid for their careers, no to bother to discuss academic freedom in Canada any longer. (For a few stories on that see the index at: Political Correctness 101)
However, the problem does not affect just Canada or the USA. All nations in the world that are in the grip of rising or established totalitarianism (primarily the developed nations) experience the suppression of freedom of speech, first and foremost in their universities where the suppression of academic freedom, of freedom of speech and of other civil liberties breeds, proliferates and appears to originate, frequently and surprisingly from within the staff and the student body of universities.
You can check that out for yourself, but be careful. Asking an Association of University Staff for the right answer may be like asking the fox to guard the chickens, or more aptly, to ask the fox who was asked to guard the chickens for an honest answer on his taste preferences.
Update 2008 10 25: “Indoctrinate U” will be on US Documentary Channel (2008, Oct. 27th through Nov. 4th)
